Pepsky Free Music Converter is an audio conversion tool that supports all the most popular audio formats, including MP3, WMA, WAV, M4A, AAC, APE, AIFF, FLAC, and others. Besides, it allows you to customize the output quality and supports batch conversion.
The program's user interface is fairly nice and easy to use. It guides you through the conversion process in four steps. On the first step, you are asked to select your desired destination format among all supported. On the second step, you can create your conversion list by adding all the files you want to convert to the format selected. This step also provides you with a very basic but functional built-in media player, which allows you to listen to any of the previously added audio files.
On the third step you can configure the output quality for all of your converted files. You can choose among several predefined options, such as Keep Quality (no changes), CD Quality, and High, Medium, and Low quality. However, you can also choose "Custom" in order to set your own values. You can set the bit rate, the volume, the Frequency and the number of channels. You may change the default output folder, too. Finally, the fourth step is the conversion process itself. You can relax and watch the conversion progress.
Even though this program is indeed free, it behaves like a trial version - it imposes the restriction that you can convert a maximum of three files.
